Such partnerships have contributed to Nilpeter's continuous line of ground-breaking presses - all of which have revolutionized the concept of label and packaging printing.  

The Nilpeter Key Milestones
Following the introduction of self-adhesive material by Stanton Avery.

The 50s The Simplex, Nilpeter's very first press, is launched. Later it becomes a semi-rotary letter printing press for printing tickets. It remains in production until the late 80s.

The 60s The Viking Dominator letterpress range is introduced. It stays in production until the late 70s.

1977 At the Drupa exhibition, Nilpeter launches its first full rotary and modular flexo press, the Rotolabel F-200. A landmark in the development of flexo presses, it continues to form the basis of flexo rotary printing presses today.

1980 The first full rotary and modular UV-letterpress, the B-200, is introduced at Ipex in Birmingham. Another key innovation in label printing. It stays in production until 2005.

1988 Nilpeter develops UV-flexo. Demonstrated on an F-240 at Ipex in Birmingham, it offers the ability to combine UV with conventional flexo printing.

1990 At the Nilpeter Open House, the first B-280 combination UV-flexo and hot foil press is launched, featuring Stork rotary screen technology. These presses conquer the market for combination printing and remain in production until 2005.

1994 At Nilpeter’s 75th anniversary, the first true platform press is launched.  Featuring full rotary offset. The MO-3300 is the preferred choice of global brand owners today.

1996 Nilpeter moves into digital printing through an alliance with Xeikon in Belgium and introduces the DL-3300 digital printing press. At this time Nilpeter is a preferred original equipment manufacturer to HP-Indigo and remains on the forefront of digital printing.

2000 Nilpeter launches the first full 16” servo-driven press at Drupa in Düsseldorf. Ushering in a new wave of high-end technology, the presses give users a whole new way to increase their competitive edge.

2001 Nilpeter acquires the esteemed company of Rotopress in Cincinnati, USA, and establishes a solid platform in the pan-American markets.

2005 At the LabelExpo in Brussels, the FA-Line is launched in various formats. Utilising cutting-edge technology, the FA-Line features direct servo-drives, chill drums, and advanced IT to provide incredibly competitive multi-substrate printing.

2006 Chicago – the FB-Line goes servo at LabelExpo Chicago, increasing its value for money as the industry’s quality workhorse. 

2007 Banghok - Nilpeter succesfully installs FA-Line with gravure tower.
